I've learned that I'm definitely not a consistent player. Heck, I don't even know how to become one. If you play with me, you would learn that at times I could be the BEST player in the room, but at other times, I can be the worst.
It really doesn't help when I have people on my back, yelling at me when I screw up once (I like to play Hardcore: Search & Destroy, so everyone can see my failure). Once I get yelled at even once, I panic. Or of course, if I'm the last one alive on my stupid team and the whole other team is still alive (Thanks team!!).
Then there's a whole different matter. The people themselves. Sometimes you meet people who are extremely kind but other times you meet people who are complete assholes. And these assholes, they can range from age 8 to age 30+. Interesting huh? The range from 16-24 are always the worst though.
Oh and if you're a girl, sometimes it's best not to talk unless you're playing with a group of friends. Whenever I talk and people realize that I, in fact, am a girl, they always tend to freak out. This freaking out session involves them either insulting or flirting with me, which may I say, is really weird. Let's say they flirt with me, but then I reject them, God help me, they're calling me an ugly, obese cow. Because of course, I can't be an average girl and playing the xbox 360 or MW2, because they're both strictly guy stuff. My bad, I'll be sure to write down this important fact in my little planner.
